By xG this was a 4-0 win: 4.05 to 0.22, 26 shots to 5, six big chances. Arsenal won 1-0. Over a season that gap evens out. In a single game it's how you drop points you deserve.
The rotated players show a pattern. Gyökeres, Eze and Merino started, and Gyökeres had little to work with against ten men behind the ball. He's a striker who needs space to run into, and a low block takes that away. The two players who made the difference, Tzolis and Havertz, came off the bench.
